9 Months
Oh my. Has it really been that long since I last posted? I guess I have been busy. With the holidays behind me I am hoping I will have more time to devote to this blog. And since as of January I am now working part time I have no good excuses!
Well little Miss Brooke is now 9 months old. Time has flown by. She is a pro at crawling now. She is also cruising furniture and even the walls! She has not gotten brave enough to let go and try walking but I am sure that will come soon enough.
She has begun to eat more finger foods. She loves her Fruit or Veggie puffs and can eat them on her own. She grabs a few and stuffs them in her mouth! She can also eat pasta, green beans and anything soft that we are eating. A few weeks ago she had her first Sunday Pasta at my Mom's house. She loved it! We even took a meatball and smashed it up for her. I guess she will be like the rest of us and look forward to Sunday Pasta for lunch after church!
We have started a few of the stage 3 jars of food but I think she still does best with the stage 2. Plus for now I am able to find more variety in the stage 2 organic foods than in the stage 3 ones.
She tried Yo-Baby Yogurt about a week ago. She loves it! So now for breakfast she gets that and cream of wheat.
Brooke now has a third tooth to add to her grin! She is working on the fourth but for now she just has two bottom teeth and one on the top. We tried to get a picture of the new tooth yesterday, I will try to post those later.
We go for her 9 month check up on Friday. I am wondering if she will hit the 20lb mark. She was at 19lbs 8ozs back on the 27th when we went for her cold. So we may very well be at 20lbs by now. I really think she has had a bit of a growth spurt the last few weeks. She has not been sleeping as well, which could be the teeth but she has also been wanting to eat more.
I will try to add some new pictures soon and I will try to do better about updates!
