Good Night
Well last night was a good night for Brooke. She didn't scream the entire time we had her in the bath. Which she has been doing the last few nights. She used to love her bath and we are not sure why but she has started to scream when we put her in the water. Last night she seemed to relax after she cried for a while and we were able to give her a bath without any problems.
She also slept all night in her own crib last night, which is a good thing! We have been letting her sleep in our bed if she woke up during the night after around 4am but I have been trying to cut that out. It is tough though because I tend to go get her and feed her in bed and I don't stay awake long enough to get her back in her own crib. Last night I just gave her the paci and got her re-settled in her bed the two times she woke. So I am pretty sure she can now go all night without a feeding and she won't starve! I think I was just feeding her because she woke and not really trying to comfort her in other ways before. Thank goodness for the new paci! She loves the larger 6+ month size!
Brooke is getting excited because her grandparents from Atlanta are planning to come for a visit this weekend. It has been a while since she has seen them and she wants to show them how well she can sit up now. Hopefully we can get some pictures for the blog of their visit.
She can roll over really good now and is really trying to get mobile. She gets on her hands and knees but just does not know how to actually make it all work. She is working on sitting up on her own and can sit up for a few minutes now. And she is trying hard to sit up from a lying down position if you hold her legs for her. Her grandmother Marcus works on this daily with her! And she is now able to pick up her paci and put it in her mouth, though sometimes she does not get the correct end in her mouth! We have also been working on letting her drink from a sippy cup and she loves it!
